One in a thousand

Assalamualaikum,

I just read something in a book titled 3T, Taubat, Tasbih & Tahajjud.

It was written in the book that from a hadith of Rasulullah SAW, stated that, from 1000 of us, 999 will be sent to hell. Only 1 of us can get to heaven. May we are among the one in a thousand.

So, I don't know why, but by the time I read about this, Hassan el Bana. Sayyid Qutb & other mujahid came cross my mind. So yes, they are ghuraba for me, & same goes to most of the muslims.

First of all, what is ghuraba? Ghuraba means strangers.

The stranger is not the one who empties the house and bids farewell now. But the stranger is he who is serious while the people around him is playing. & is awake while the people around him is sleep, & follows the best path while the people around him plot and plan their misguidance.

The poet once said : 'My friend said to me, I see you as a stranger amongst these people without close friend. I said NO! But the people are strange, I'm in the world and this is my way.'

This is the stranger, strange in the view of those who jest and mock from amongst mankind. But in the Sight of his Lord, he is at a Noble Station.
