Assalamualaikumm
So the video above is basically telling us to solve the problem which is more important. You know, people nowadays like to argue... Some of us think that we are the ONLY one that is right. This kind of attitude need to be avoided. Many of us keep asking the ustaz, the ulama... Is wearing a turban is a sunnah? Isn't it just an Arabic culture? Truthful what Ustaz Azhar said, we keep arguing with the small thing. I mean, why don't you just wear it. Rasulullah saw wear it, if you don't want to... It isn't a sin.
Which means, we should spend our time with a bigger issue. YES, sunnah is a big issue, but there's something that need to be solved immediately. While discussing the big issue, we can still discuss the 'less big' issue. But if we spend most of our time talking about things that is less important, we will be running out of time to solve bigger issue. The video above shows an example by assuming the big glass as the time... try to understand the video. I know it's in arabic language, I'm sorry that there's no subtitle. But it is worth to spend some of your time to understand it than spending your time thinking what you wanna wear to go to Pavillion tomorrow. Okay, that just some example of less important thing to do.
I really wish that I can talk in arabic fluently. I'm not that good in English, but at least I can write in english. YES, it is an international language... But, Arabic is a language that will be used in Jannah, the language that has been used in the Quran. You know they said,
'if you want to talk with Allah, do prayer' and 'if you want Allah to talk with you, read the Quran'.
I don't really like the fact that I have to memorize the translation of some surah. I want to UNDERSTAND every single meaning of the word in it. I want to learn as many language as I could, and travel to learn more knowledge that is specifically better to learn in some country. I want to learn everything and try my best to contribute to other. But now, I'm stuck.. not knowing what I wanna be in the future. I hate the fact that we 'study to score A' or 'study to get a good job'. It makes me feel like I cannot NOT be an engineer because I have learned physics. I cannot NOT be a lawyer because I learned history. I think you get what I mean. & at the end, I feel like I wanna be a housewife of a husband that can teach many kind of knowledges especially fardhu ain and will not demand me to make money because I'm not that keen in making money.. or maybe someone like Ahmad Al Shugairi. Har har, just kidding. My mome asked me few days ago about marrying him. What laahh, of course I would like someone that have that feeling of responsibility to the ummah. A rich man without responsible will not give you nafaqah, but a man that have that sense of responsibility will try his best to give you nafaqah no matter in what condition.
But still, I have to make money.. to live and to do zakat and to help the poor and to make my parents life easier and and and and.....
The reality is... the cost of living is getting higher. & I'm not married yet. ZZZ haha. I should take a note on that & should strengthen my iman and believes that Allah has mercy upon his slaves. No matter what will I be in the future, Allah is the one who will give me the rizqi. He is the owner of EVERYTHING. (^,^)
Anyway, in the video, Ahmad Al Shugairi stated something that has been said by the Islamic scholar.

"A sign that shows a person that do ibadah by following their desire is leaving the wajib behind the sunnah"
Making me realise that, I should not be too worry about the future. Because I'm spending my today thinking too much about something that is not a certainty. I should use that time to think about something that is more important such as, how to be a good daughter, how to make my mom happy, how to be a better muslim and so on. I used to waste my time thinking about why Hilary Duff break up with Joel Madden, eyshh boddoo mu nih.
