Restless.

Assalamualaikum.

Alhamdulillah, there is only one week left until we finish all of the papers for this Intervensi. It's really hectic that I only slept for 4 hours per day. MasyaAllah, burning the midnight oil because I study at the eleventh hour. Serve me right! & Addmaths paper 2 will be on this Saturday. & I am more than not ready.

I believe that if you do something that is right your soul will feels tranquil. The restlessness is caused by the sin. & Islam teach us to sleep 5/1/2 hours per day. If you sleep 8 hours per day, it means you'll spend 1/3 of your life sleeping. Plus, we the Malay always do chatting after having our lunch, that will be about 1/4 of your life. YES! This is the truth. One of the university in Malaysia did a study about this. What ever it is, don't work too much for dunya to the degree you'll forget the akhirah.

Let us think of the hikmah behind the existance of SPM. I am a SPM candidate and it happened because Allah let it happen. The ibrah that I learned from this week is, don't work at the last minute and may Allah forgive me for leaving His prophet's (saw) hadith abandoned.

عن عبدالله بن عمر رضى الله عنهما قال أخذ رسول الله صلى عليه وسلم بمنكبي فقال كن في الدنيا كانك غريب أو عابر سبيل وكان ابن عمر يقول اذا أمسيت فلا تنتطر الصباح واذا أصحبت فلا تنتظر المساء وخذ من صحتك لمرضك ومن حياتك لموتك – رواه البخاري

Abdullah bin 'Umar: The Prophet held my shoulders and said: be in the world as a foreigner: Ibn Umar said: When you are in the evening, do not wait for the eve of the morning. When you are in the morning, do not wait for the eve of the evening. Use the opportunity when you are fit to hand before you fall sick and while you are alive for your death. - Rawahu Bukhari

I wouldn't be this stressful if I follow his sunnah. Put your life in Islam, not put Islam in your life. Then only you will practice the life of a Muslim thouroughly. Be patient with the test, life is a test. Don't ask for easier tests but ask for a stronger imaan.

Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer.

Lastly, may Allah preserve our heart, our intention of enhancing our knowledge. Do it because of Allah, our pursuit of knowledge. Faridhatu Muslim it is. InsyaAllah we will be rewarded & also will get A++++. Amin
